Resolve iTunes error message: Backup could not be saved on the computer"

iPhone is one of the most popular and demanding device and due to this reason it is very demanding in the market. /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

On Windows XP :
\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

On Windows Vista and Windows 7 :
\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

To delete the backup file from iTunes follow the steps given below:

• Open iTunes preference through iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).
• Then select device backup to delete
• Then delete backup, by simply clicking on the ‘delete' button.
